Melissa is a Colorado native, growing up in Golden and an athlete all her life. She began her career in Orthopedic Surgery working in sports medicine, total joint replacement, upper extremity and hand, as well as foot and ankle. She quickly discovered her favorite part of the role was supporting patients’ return to peak performance, often from a more holistic and longevity approach. Physical fitness is a powerful tool for preventing disease and supporting resilient, healthy aging.

Outside of the clinic, she lives the lifestyle she encourages her patients whether skiing, hiking, strength training, Pilates or competing in HYROX competitions. She also enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants in the Denver-metro area, and cheering on her Penn State Nittany Lions football team. She believes that movement, meaningful time with friends and family, and moments outside in nature are vital for lasting health and longevity.
